Of the animals you list, the only two I have any personal experience with are genets and serval cats. I know people who have both as pets and while they have their difficulties, they seem to fit very well into the human household. The serval cat I know is front and rear declawed, something I personally have a problem with and thus I would most likely never have a serval cat, as my understanding is they are simply too destructive and even dangerous when they have their claws.
But from a personality standpoint, the serval cat I know is almost like a dog in a big cat body, full of personality and extremely friendly and sociable. She has a large wire enclosure attached to the house that was originally built for the owner's wolf (now passed away), so it's quite large and very secure. But the cat spends most of her time in the house and is very cuddly.
One friend of mine in another state says he has a friend with an unneutered male serval and that he is literally impossible to housebreak, but frankly I find that it's impossible to teach unneutered male housecats to not spray in the house too.
Genets I know less about but my one friend who has them loves them and they are extremely tame and friendly. She lets hers out which I have my doubts about. JMO.
